How we work

Hi there! If you landed here, you're probably wondering how the content on Noi Dinosauri is created. We’re happy to explain it in a few words.

Who is behind the project

Noi Dinosauri is an amateur project born out of a passion for paleontology. The person writing it is neither a trained paleontologist nor a paleoartist, but an enthusiast who gathers and organizes information available on the web and from public sources. We do our best to be accurate, but — as in any one-person project — a few inaccuracies can happen.

The role of artificial intelligence

To help us write and organize content, we use several artificial intelligence tools. Here is how it works, step by step:

  • Information gathering – An AI model gathers information and sources.
  • Structure creation – The information is assembled by the author and provided to the AI for the initial outline.
  • First draft – An AI model helps write a first draft of the text, starting from sources gathered on the web.
  • Double check – A second AI system proofreads the text and suggests corrections, verifying consistency and accuracy.
  • Final human decision – The author reviews every suggested correction and decides whether to accept it or not. Nothing is published automatically. This cycle, with the exception of information gathering, is repeated for all the languages in which the site is written.
  • Same goes for images and videos – Generated visual contents are also checked one by one: those that aren't convincing are discarded.

In short: AI helps write faster and spot errors, but the final decision on what to publish is always human.

We care about accuracy

Precisely because we know we can make mistakes, we periodically review published content, and the frequency of these checks increases over time. If you notice an error, a wrong date, or something that doesn't seem right, write to us: we are happy to improve thanks to our readers.
